I have been inspired to begin to document some of the projects I have been involved with by the fantastic people I work with. I hope that by sharing some of my work you will see how I could work with you and your teams to get things done and make a difference.

Behaviour Management

Staff Training Day reflecting on approaches to behaviour management.

Giving staff a chance to share experiences, understand their own responses and create a whole staff approach as they move forward with their policy and practice in this area.

Ensuring that your team is happy with and consistent in their approach to managing the conflicts and challenges that we meet on a daily basis in our early years settings is essential but not always easy because each child and adult is unique and brings something different to this area of work!

This day can be tailor made for your setting with a focus on a conflict resolution approach.

For this large team of staff working with children from 3 months to 4 years old we explored: what are the challenges and conflicts you deal with; theories of behaviour management and how it relates to practice; the importance of the learning environment in positive approaches to behaviour management and how conflict resolution can support our work in this area.

Feedback from the session:

Many many thanks for the training session that you provided this week on behaviour to our whole staff. EVERYONE enjoyed the day and thought it was excellent and thought provoking training - which it was...I hope we will be able to commission you again for more.
